Complete 9″ Rear Axle Package for 1982–1992 F Body – Includes housing, axles & center section. DOM tubes, torque arm bracket & gear options included.
The Trick Chassis 9″ Rear Axle Package for 1982–1992 Camaro & Firebird includes the housing, axles & center section — built for racers who want the right parts from the start, without paying extra for what’s supposed to be standard.
Below is what is included with the Rear Axle Package for the base price:
- Brand new Center Fabricated Housing can (STANDARD) Others charge $100 more
- Internal Axle Tube Gussets (STANDARD) Others charge $75 more
- 3″ .250 wall DOM Axle Tubes (STANDARD)
- 4 lower Control Arm Mounting Holes (STANDARD)
- 28, 31, 35 Spline Axle options (YOUR CHOICE).
- Drive Studs included 12mm, 1/2-2″,1/2-3″ (YOUR CHOICE)
- Torque Arm Bracket is included
- Housing Vent included
- Wheel Bearings included.
- 10 nuts to bolt the Center Section in
- Yukon Center Section with a spool in it (your choice of gear)
- Shipped raw steel
- We can narrow for free (see options)

- T-Bolt Brake Hardware Kit (easy install of your stock F body backing plates)

Important Shipping Information
Axles are shipped with no bearings on them – your stock backing plate needs to go on first then the bearings get pressed on behind them.
ATTENTION:
Brakes, Center Sections & Axles are drop shipped directly to your shipping address from the manufacturer & may arrive at different times. Tracking information will be sent if provided by the manufacturer. If you add the option to have your housing assembled, everything will be shipped from Trick Chassis.
Important Brake Information
The Billet GM 10/12 (can use stock GM car brakes) – these only fit 3rd Gen drums if you have a 4-hole backing plate – otherwise this will fit 2nd Gen drum brake kits.
